A gift for a friend

Hi all. I'm not a huge docrafts fan, but when I saw the Michael Powell beach stamps, I had to get them. A good friend of mine has just purchases a beach hut along the Felpham seafront where we live, and wanted to use the stamp to make a little 'hut warming' gift!! To make the frame, I used some white card that was packaging in a pack of 12x12 card I had. I glued 3 layers together and cut out the centre. I painted it with blue acrylic paint, then white over the top. When both layers were dry I sanded & scraped off some of the white, then painted it all twice with Mod Podge. The beach hut image was stamped with Stazon & coloured with Stampin' Up! watercolour pens before being mounted into the frame using some Collall glue gel to hold it together. I hope she like is!!
