Hi all. I'm not a huge docrafts fan, but when I saw the Michael Powell beach stamps, I had to get them. A good friend of mine has just purchases a beach hut along the Felpham seafront where we live, and wanted to use the stamp to make a little 'hut warming' gift!! To make the frame, I used some white card that was packaging in a pack of 12x12 card I had. I glued 3 layers together and cut out the centre. I painted it with blue acrylic paint, then white over the top. When both layers were dry I sanded & scraped off some of the white, then painted it all twice with Mod Podge. The beach hut image was stamped with Stazon & coloured with Stampin' Up! watercolour pens before being mounted into the frame using some Collall glue gel to hold it together. I hope she like is!! TTFN xx

Hi all- I'm still alive, unfortunately I seem to be unable to keep up with regular blog posing... perhaps that ought to be my new years resolution??
Anyway, Leann Chivers at Crafter's Companion has asked me to help promote the new range that is being launched this week. It's a wonderful set of rubber stamps drawn by Sally Hunter, the creative talent behind the popular Humphrey's Corner range.
The set consists of gorgeous stamps and a CD ROM that has a fabulous young, retro feel to it. I've uploaded a couple of photos but the stamps are not all masculine- there are some beautiful girly images too.
As a little taster, see Leann's blog, where you can enter to win some of the popular Core'dinations cardstock!
Happy new year to you all!
